Because we feel SO STRONGLY about this, there is NEVER any cost to upgrade from any version of any one particular Cetus Software product to another version of the same product. For example, there is no cost whatsoever to upgrade from StormWindow for Windows 95, say, to the Windows 98 version or to the Windows Me version, or to upgrade from StormWindow for Windows NT4 to the Windows 2000 version, etc.

Our licensing and upgrade policies have always been quite simple :

PLEASE NOTE - We do change the registration code algorithm occasionally. So, if you are a registered user of any StormWindow version and you find that your registration code does not work with a newer version, you simply have to email us (providing your current UserName and UserCode) to obtain a new registration code for use with the newest versions. (Please be prepared to provide proof of previous registration - such as your current UserName and UserCode - to obtain a new registration code.) Please EMAIL Cetus Software (cetus -(at)- cetussoft.com) to obtain your new registration number (which cannot be provided over the telephone). Thank you.

On this web site, we will always have available the latest versions of each of our products, so you should check this site every once in a while to find if there is a newer release for your Cetus software program.

• To upgrade one of our Windows 3.1x shareware programs, you will have to obtain a copy of the registered executable from us, which we can send you as an email attachment. To complete the upgrade, you would simply copy over the older executable file on your hard drive with the newer one.
• To upgrade StormWindow for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT4, or Windows 2000, you should first make a backup copy of the license file (StormWin.lic, in the Windows directory). Then, after uninstalling the older version and installing the newer version, simply copy the saved license file over the shareware one from the newer version's installation.
